About the Butterfly Garden

The butterfly garden was planted in 1998 by members of the Dixie S.E.E.D. (School Environmental Education Docents) team. This effort was led by parents Georgia Turzynski and Debbie Baker, teachers Mimi Reddick and Joan Kozlowski, as well as a dedicated team of Dixie parents and teachers. Students also helped to break ground and plant the butterfly and kindergarden boxes.
