# 20 - Flower Boxes

The flower boxes outside the Dixie office are brimming with beautiful flowers and plants. In each planter is a mulberry tree, and wonderful flowers, among them lavender, rosemary, irises, freesias, tulips, California poppies and daisies.

From Ms. Sund:

"Our class studies and cares for the planter boxes in front of the school office. We have been drawing the plants which grow there and research them. Each student picks a plant or flower, researches it on the Internet, and then does a one-page graphic presentation in KidPix. We have also done art drawings in pastel."

3rd, 4th and 5th graders observe and draw the beautiful spring flowers blooming outside the Dixie office.
