Working With Our Buddies

1st and 4th grade buddies meet for about an hour every other week. While half of the children
do hands-on activities in one classroom, the other half do technology-integrated activities in the computer lab. Midway through the hour, the children switch. In the computer lab, students complete online activities designed to build communication and relationship among buddies. 4th graders serve as cross-age tutors to help 1st graders learn skills in fun ways.
