Dixie Home & School Club

The Dixie Home and School Club is a parent-run organization that fundraises to sponsor a variety of academic enrichment programs, staff education programs, site enhancements, educational and technology acquisitions and educational events for students attending Dixie Elementary School. It holds monthly committee meetings at Dixie in the evening and is run entirely by parent volunteers. We need you to help make the Dixie Home and School Club the best it can be! Donate and volunteer: your children will benefit from it. Contact the Dixie Home and School Club Board to find out how you can help.

Board Member Positions

DHSC is also asking all interested parents to come and see if participation on the DHSC board could be for you. We need new and interested parents to take part in the board for the new year and years to follow. The commitment is small compared to the positive impact on our children’s education and their overall school experience. Please consider offering your leadership skills to make Dixie the best school it can be for our students.

Grade Level Parent Reps

In 2009, DHSC will also ask for and recruit grade level representatives to communicate and serve as a voice for your child’s grade. The DHSC is only as strong as the parents who volunteer to be part of this crucial part of our school

Volunteers

DHSC needs the support of volunteers to raise funds and to provide all its services. Teachers and staff also need volunteer support. As our school grows in size annually, more help is needed to maintain the high standard of education we expect at Dixie School. Please consider volunteering at least once this year in whatever capacity suits your individual schedule.
