Session
1: Creatures Featured
Students
will choose one real animal and one mythical creature as the topic
of their website. They will work with other students to create a
site which explores the relationships between real and
mythical creatures through research, art and poetry. Along
the way they learn the basics of HTML and work in raw HTML templates
to design and deploy their first websites. Internet security and
copyright issues will be covered. Students who continue on to
session two will expand their knowledge.

They will create original art using graphics software and/or will
scan their print artwork and learn how to get it into the proper
size to go onto a webpage. Along
the way they learn the basics of HTML and work in raw HTML templates
to design and deploy their websites. Internet security and
