Each spring, the Dixie School District (DSD) is
required to administer the state-mandated physical fitness test to all
students in grades 5 and 7 during the months of March, April, or May. In
2000-01, Physical Fitness Testing Results are collected and reported
to the California Department of Education (CDE), for each school and
student.
The FITNESSGRAM is the required fitness test
designated by the CDE.
Dixie District’s PFT results can be found on CDE’s DataQuest page
http://data1.cde.ca.gov/dataquest/
Each school will notify parents, regarding testing
dates, about one month prior to test administration.
Student Participation
All students in grades 5 and 7 must take the physical
fitness test. Students are required to participate whether or not they
are in a physical education class.

much of the test as conditions permit.
